I really like the Wilmette Theater. It is small like theaters used to be. It is a non-profit so the concession items are reasonably priced. Each time I have seen a movie here, it has been an enjoyable experience. People who choose this theater remember that good manners are still important and seeing a movie is supposed to be fun, not aggravated.
LOVE this independent, NFP theatre! Ticket prices are affordable for movies, and it is a great place to host events. I threw a mom's night out wine movie party fundraiser for our elementary school, and it was a huge hit. Will host my child's birthday party there next! Plus, a great venue for live music (Holiday Bar Crawl! and comedy.
I watched Phantom, and there were quite a few delays, which made things feel a bit uneven. However, I really enjoyed the play, and the staff was very friendly. The area around the theater is also quite pleasant.
