My wife and I prefer Wimpy's restaurants to any of the fast food chains primarily for the better service but also the better food. We find the various Wimpy's locations vary considerably in service quality and food quality depending on the servers there and the...chef of the day on duty at the time. We find this Wimpy's and the one in Courtice to be the best in our area and the one in Oshawa and Toronto to be, well lets just say at the other end of the scale. Always fast service and the food always good and if there is a problem with something they always have fixed it and made things right. I love the slaw too here! It's usually made perfectly but not always the same at all Wimpy's restaura...
Food was great waitress was very nice. My issue is that they don't have enough staff working there only 1 cook till the other guy showed up late and complaining and 1 waitress seems like always the case where they need 2 cause the place...was packed and she couldn't keep up with the orders. We waited forever thought once she took our plates and cups she would bring the bill nope so we just ended up walking up to the cash and paying as she didn't have our bills ready yet. All in all it is a great place to eat. P.S. Coffee sucks way to strong.
the first time here and a little hard to find as it is on the back of the plaza! faster and pleasant service and coffee was served quickly! Spouse had French toast, that was 6 pieces and very well done! I had peameal benedict and it was huge! 3 beer perfectly poched and a large amount very well seasoned and delicious home cutlery! we will be back here safely!
My wife and I stopped off at Wimpy's Diner and had a very nice experience. The place was very clean and the decor was eye appealing. The menu was varied and the food was very good with large portions at a fair price. The staff...were very friendly and the service was excellent. We highly recommend that people try this location. this is a decent place to eat, breakfast is excellently offered with many, daily specialties also. prices are average. I've eaten here many times and never disappointed. they are also ready to change the dinge to meet the nutritional requirements if possible. I just seem. to come back to this restaurant, sit for a quick meal.
Had planned to go to a nearby fish chips place, but when there was no seating available we checked out Wimpy's. Reasonable prices, large portions, good food. Seemed like they were short staffed (just one waitress on duty), but she did an amazing job...keeping up.
love the booths, food is hot and fresh...service is fast and friendly...this is a wonderful place to sit in the booth and listen to the old juke box while enjoying the great food! Decor is very nostalgic set in the 50's and 60's!

we ordered the chicken parmesan tonight for dinner. only 20 minutes so our order is quickly prepared. dinners were hot, humble and tasty.
