The Sweet and Sour Chicken and the General Tso's Chicken were nearly indistinguishable, both smothered in an excessively sweet sauce. I've never seen a reddish-pink General Tso's before, and it had no spice or sesame seeds. Both dishes were more like overcooked batter than actual chicken. The Beef with Chinese Broccoli lacked the typical garlicky flavor—it had no garlic, no salt, and no taste, just a watery consistency. The Chinese ribs had more fat than meat and were similarly watered down—very disappointing. The Chicken Chow Mein noodles were rubbery and bland, seeming like they were pulled straight from the water without ever hitting a wok, and again, they were flavorless and lacking in...

This has to be the worst food I've ever encountered. I ordered the General Tso's chicken, but what I got were old pieces of chicken that had been recooked and mostly covered in batter. Some of the pieces didn't even contain any chicken. The sauce wasn’t the typical General Tso's; instead, it seemed like it was just a bottled chili sauce. They were out of green tea, and even though a Chinese gentleman arrived after us, he was promptly served a pot of tea. We weren’t given any chopsticks either. The vegetables were overcooked bok choy with just a tiny piece of broccoli. I left most of the meal untouched on my plate, but no one bothered to ask why I didn’t want to take it home. When our meal arrived, the vegetables were so cold that we had to send them back. Although the waiter reluctantly brought us one replacement plate for the six people at our table, it didn’t take long for the rice to cool down due to the icy breeze from the air system. We voiced our concerns again, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. I noticed that the staff were all wearing long sleeves, which suggests they are aware of how uncomfortable it is to work in these conditions. It’s unfortunate because we have been loyal customers for many years, but our experience often depends on who is working on that particular day. Overall, we left feeling very dissatisfied.

I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant. Both times I've eaten here, the food has been mediocre at best. The reason I'm writing this review is because of the utterly appalling meal I had during my second and final visit. The Kung Pao chicken was bland, and the 'sauce' tasted like little more than seasoned water. The highlight was the Shanghai noodles, which I paid nearly $4 extra to substitute for rice. It seemed like the cook just scraped the burnt residue off the wok, added some oil, and tossed my noodles in. It was really disgusting. A few days later, I decided to order the General Tao Chicken (J1) and Honey Garlic Spare Ribs (K24) as main dishes for takeout, instead of a combo. Unfortunately, when I arrived to pick up my order after an hour, it wasn't ready. I found that the General Tao Chicken as a main dish wasn't as good as the combo I had dined in, and the honey ribs were a bit dry. I will definitely return to dine in again, but I might avoid ordering takeout in the future.

The wait time with Uber Eats was absolutely outrageous. The staff even told the delivery person that they were short-staffed and overwhelmed with orders. Newsflash: it's Christmas Day! Who thought it would be a good idea to be understaffed instead of overstaffed? They should have had the decency to decline my order if they couldn't manage the workload. I truly feel sorry for anyone who dined in the restaurant tonight.

The service was quick and efficient, but unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. The wonton noodle soup was quite bland, and the shrimp wontons were tasteless. While the beef chow fun had some flavor in the noodles, the beef itself was completely flavorless. I’m not looking for something overly salty, just good, satisfying flavors. It's disappointing; perhaps there's been a change in the kitchen.

I typically visit the other location on the West Island, but I chose this one since it's closer. I ordered one of the set meal specials and requested a modification to swap out a dish, and it was no problem at all. The food was served quickly and was piping hot. The shrimp wonton soup lacked flavor and didn't taste fresh at all. The fried calamari was tough to chew and also bland, so I requested some lemon, but unfortunately, they didn't have any.
