It was a wonderful dining experience. Our servers were congenial and efficient making our dinner date a memorable one. We were presented with a lovely basket of onion rolls, Italian bread and multi seeded lavash. Our order was taken quickly and we started with a crispy wedge salad accompanied by thick cut bacon chunks, blue cheese and sliced tomato toppings, which was plentiful for two. The crab cake was very tasty, with nice chunks of crabmeat along side a micro green salad. The star of the show was the filet mignon and sirloin steaks, both prepared Pittsburg style. The restaurant was very noisy on the Tuesday night we dined. The crab cake appetizer was excellent, but my steak was undercooked and had a strange chewy texture for a filet. The waiter never returned to check on our meal, and another diner in our party had their filet cooked rare instead of medium well. They did not eat their steak and no one came back to ask about our meals. Overall, I don't think I will be returning to this place. The highlight of the evening was the company I dined with.
Wolfgang's consistently delivers fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere. Everything was perfect during our visit last night, except for the fact that we felt rushed. Despite ordering appetizers, a steak for two, dessert, and a bottle of wine, we were in and out in just one hour. We would have preferred to have more time to savor the wine and our three courses. We believe that for the price per person, we should not be rushed.
As always Wolfgang’s in Somerville, NJ NEVER disappoints!!! The food was incredible and amazing! The wine selection was extraordinary!! Our service was outstanding on all levels….from the moment we sat down to the moment our anniversary dessert and cappuccinos came! A truly high end and phenomenal dining experience we will never forget! Many thanks to everyone at Wolfgangs!

My strip had a very odd cook to it done on the outside and medium rare in the interior almost as though it had been put on heat from frozen. My mistake may have been to go on a holiday, when senior chefs may have been off and the restaurant too busy. If I give if another try it will not be on a holiday.
The restaurant is too expensive and has an inflated reputation. The onion soup was awful and the noise level was excessive.
Ok, this place is pricey, but man is the food good!
