UPDATE: I will have to change my review after having given a second chance to this WOB location. I will say that they have redeemed themselves and my experience was 1000% better. The food was all the way around better and I had no issues whatsoever.Let me add that their pretzel with the onion dip was a big hit, and so was the chicken and waffles sandwich. 1st time at thislocation, and most likely my last. Disappointed, called to confirm they had Brunch, was not made aware that they did not havethe ingredients for mimosas until after we sat down, looked at the Brunch menu, and we were ready to order. Went to WOB with friends for late lunch on Sunday around 2:30. The restaurant was busy but not packed. We sat at the bar and the service was decent, I had the Black and Bleu Flatbread and it was quite good. They do have a nice menu and a good variety ofbeers. I'd have to say my main complaint was the smell. As soon as you walked in, the smell of bleach (and some other smell thatI couldn't place) was just about too much to handle, though we did get used to it after a few minutes.
I was a lot happier since my last visit to a different location. The service was much better, the food was so fresh and good, and the drinks were delicious. I had mixed drinks, and my friend always had a beer in hand. We sat on the patio, and it was areally nice vibe. The food really impressed me. The brussel sprouts were delicious, and I didn't share haha. The truffle frieswere good, and the pretzel was amazing!!
I celebrated my birthday with dinner today. I made a reservation via email beforehand. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. However, it was quite warm inside the restaurant, possibly because the back door was left open. The noise level made it a bit hard to have a conversation, but overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience.
