I absolutely adore this peaceful sanctuary. The cafe has a large seating area set in a gorgeous garden. The staff are welcoming and attentive. I particularly enjoy the vegan cakes and gluten-free date slices - they are delicious. After my meal, I like to stroll through the well-maintained gardens and admire the lovely flowers. The skilled gardeners do a fantastic job maintaining the grounds. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of a shy Muntjac Deer in the nearby forest!
limited menu, but everything we have tasted so far was excellent. all vegetarian meals. coffee good, fair amount of seating in the inner but best sitting outside with good weather with south-eastern wall and protection from trees and shrubs opposite. to explore a series of conspicuous areas and forests and an absolutely massive tulip tree near the sitting area, which has large yellow green flowers in June/July. radgroup friendly, lots of parking before location.
Now at Thornby hall the Buddhist centre which houses the cafe is a great location for coffee and cakes for our cycling club. The staff are friendly and there is a great choice of food from the menu. A £5 minimum for card payments is the only gripe but you'll spend that anyway on a lovely coffee and great cake. Worth a visit.
We stumbled upon this café at a Buddhist Centre and retreat, housed in a charming old country house. The vegetarian food was delicious and the setting was beautiful with a fascinating building and a picturesque woodland walk. We will definitely be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
GREAT place to go for a delicious coffee or a snack. Very friendly staff, amazing building and grounds. They also run beautifully calming and inspiring meditation classes and events. Can't recommend it highly enough
