Nice, clean, Pizza establishment. Their focus is the pizza itself. While they offer some choices of wings, sandwiches and salad, their main focus is the pizza. This is my first time coming over here but with the quality of their ingredients and bountiful amounts of toppings, I am certainly expecting to come here more often. The staff and owner were courteous and open for chatter. I was delightfully surprised to know that they've had this establishment for over 40 years. Although their shop is hard to see from street, I am happy to have found this place and would recommend anyone to try their quality pizza.
This place looks like it?s best days are behind it. I think one of the owners was in she just looked tired of the whole thing. It really really seems like the people here would rather be anywhere else. The front area is a cozy front with 1-2 tables and about a dozen chairs for the tables and for waiting. No AC and the front and back doors are open, so I worry about insects and health codes. Beyond this, the food looks good. I think this place has a lot of potential but it feels like the passion of the business is gone
I absolutely love WBP! We’ve enjoyed their fantastic menu for 8 years now. I recently tried the BBQ tri-tip sandwich, and it was exceptional! The French roll is soft on the inside with a slightly crunchy exterior, perfectly filled with hot and tender tri-tip. The bread was just perfect! The pizzas are also outstanding, and the antipasto salad is incredibly tasty! I also want to give a shoutout to the owner, Pam, and her wonderful staff. They are friendly, accommodating, and very professional.
Worlds best pizza even after the ownership change is still the worlds best. The pizza's are made with love, lots of toppings and thick. If you don't like thick doughie pizzas you may not like these. What is slept on is the meatball sub and the massive chicken wings. I get the wings plain as it keeps it crunchier. Maybe they will add delivery one day which would be nice. And hopefully they can bring back the bbq.
When I was a kid in the 1980s, I had my first pizza from this place. It was so delicious, i thought no wonder it was called World's Best! There is hardly better pizza anywhere than our local pizza place. Local neighborhood establishments are the best. That's a fact, and has been written in magazines. The best thing is that this place hasn't changed much. Still the same great taste. I wish they will never close
This restaurant has a wonderful friendly atmosphere, and being family-owned adds to its charm. It's very cozy inside. The pizza is amazing—I tried the sausage and pepperoni with mushrooms, and I had jalapeños and tomatoes on half. I also ordered a side of spicy chicken wings. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but it's absolutely worth it!
Worlds dirtiest piece of pizza. Place is not friendly. Asian gives off a I don't care attitude about this place and it's customers. After paying he didn't even wash his hands and started making pizzas. This place is disgusting and I left. Even after COVID and this guy thinks it's ok. Don't get sick from this place and stay away
Excellent pizza. This place was recommended and we tried it out. The pizza is delicious. This has become our go to pizza place now. We live on the other side of the hill in Whittier and gladly drive to pick up our pizza because it's worth it. Haven't tried their other items yet, but will soon.
I often pick up pizza for the family. This is beyond the best place in town for pizza. Nothing fake tasting in the ingredients. Always fresh delicious and hot. the owner is the nicest lady. Her crew looks like they really work hard. Help support Hacienda Heights small businesses!
