I went there with my Mum in February. My Mum had been going regularly and this was my first time. An elderly Chinese lady met as at the entrance to the restaurant and my Mum asked if we could sit outside and the response was...a very offhand No. So, we sat down and saw the £9.99 lunchtime deal which is chicken and sweet corn soup plus any one main. My Mum asked if she could have the hot soup instead of chicken and sweetcorn and again there was an offhand response of Yes but then I asked is this included in the set meal price and was told again offhandly that it would be an extra £1.50. So we didn't bother. Next we ordered drinks, my Mum wanted a glass of red wine but they wanted a truly exto...
During our shopping trip, I decided to try out another restaurant. This time, we visited a restaurant on a Saturday for lunch. Unfortunately, my appetizer of salt and pepper chicken wings turned out to be more bone, fat, and gristle than actual meat. The main course was slightly better, but the cold chips were not a good option. When we went to pay at the counter, we waited for over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. There was a woman behind the counter who completely ignored us for those 10 minutes, only lifting her head when someone else came to assist us. There was no apology or thank you from her, leaving me feeling disappointed once again.
We have been to this excellent top class Chinese restaurant previously and thoroughly enjoyed it but there was a disappointment with the soup we had, there were prawns in it that still had the black streak down the length, that from what I understand is...the digestive/bowel system of the prawn and the bottom end of the prawn looked raw(it was grey). The main meal was first class as was the service. Finally it was cold in the restaurant at first I think due to the air-con. Thought air-con. was for the customers to feel comfortable.
me and my partner went for tea here after a long day shopping! we both love Chinese but have never been to a Chinese restaurant before and Yang Sing has set the bar/standards very high. We were greeted by lovely service and seated very quickly....Waiters offered advice on drinks and food and answered all the questions we had about the menu very well. I went to the restaurant with my family and ordered hot and sour soup, filet with yellow bud sauce, and spicy chicken broth. The dishes were served with egg frying on the side. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. They even provided us with the WiFi password. To top it off, we received a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
The service at this restaurant was exceptional and the food was fantastic. The waitress was very friendly and humorous. The meal was incredibly delicious with a wonderful blend of seasonings. We ordered the crispy chili beef to share, along with plenty of sides, as we were in a hurry for lunch. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and again. The staff provided excellent service throughout our meal.
I have been here before and was never disappointed. The food was delicious and service friendly although some staff members could do better if they learn the art of smiling. I have suggested to them they should serve their delicious tea in a good ceramic...pot rather than a boring stainless steel pot but they haven't as yet implemented it. But the food was super v

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food and Chinese Beer of draught which is a rarity. Portions were very generous and quality was very good. Recommended.
