The atmosphere might have been better if the dogs present were required to be controlled (and not allowed to take a dump in the literal middle of the seating/walking area or pee on the underside of the tables). The menu was a mixed bag — the $10 burritos were good (though some of the meat was pretty tough), but the tacos were $5 a piece and they were microscopic. If they were sized to feed a child, they would have been acceptable. The tip options on the iPad for ordering were also egregious given the level of service actually provided: 30%, 40%, or 50%. The girls running the kitchen, both the cook and the one taking orders, ignored you unless they decided it was time to listen to your order....
Came here for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday last night. Initial impression, definitely cool vibe and nice outdoor spot, with misters which was greatly appreciated. Ordered some NA beers, was glad they had a couple options available for those who don’t drink. The real weird experience was with the girl that was working in the boat serving food. She was way rude to my buddy and I after asking about what options were offered. She refuses to answer our question and says “we have a menu right there”. It literally would have taken less words out of your mouth to say “chicken, shrimp, and asada”. Inconvenienced to answer a question, and proceeds to slam the iPad down with the tip s...
Awesome little spot! Owner is cool, you just have to know how to take a joke and dish one out. The theme is super cool, you will feel like you are in a nice tropical Caribbean bar. Awesome back story on how it came to be. Tacos are solid, they will go great with your beer and the sprinklers are a wonderful touch. If you don’t like it you can always take your behind to Applebees
Out riding the Greenbelt I found this place to be an Oasis on a summer day. If you happen to be on the garden side of the Boise river on the Greenbelt in an area of 35th St. You can find just about anything you want here for food or drinks. Or just a place to chill for a bit. Highly recommend it !
It’s always a great place to hang out with friends. I recommend going on a weekday if you’re not into huge crowds and possibly standing. The misters keep you cool. No kids. Lots of dogs. Good food. Cold beer!
What a fun place! It’s busy, but a nice place to hang with fun ppl and cute dogs. Staff is great, food is pretty good. I will spend much of my summer here
Fun outdoor bar! The misters really help in the heat! Nice use of an old Chris Craft for barfood as well.
