Yassin's Falafel house was amazing. I never managed to find good shwarma in Mississippi. They were all MASSIVE let downs. After moving to Knoxville I gave somewhere a shot. It was okay, but I'd never go again. Yassin's however was really very good. The workers were very friendly attentive. Service was fast as well! I was in and out in 5 minutes.During my visit I only tried out the Spicy chicken shwarma sandwich. The chicken was juicy and had tons of flavor. The sauce was good, the pickles were tasty, and the fries were perfect.I can't recommend Yassin's more. I'm incredibly excited to go back and try a Gyro! I will definitely be frequently visiting. Thank you for the good food.
This restaurant might just be my favorite spot to eat in Knoxville. The food is not only beautiful but also satisfying—especially the gyro with spicy tzatziki, which is unbeatable. However, my favorite part of the place is the atmosphere. I love bringing friends and family because I know they'll feel the warm, welcoming vibe that captivated me during my first visit. It's truly amazing to see such a diverse crowd at Yassin's. The walls are decorated with currency from all over the world, which adds to the charm of the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend dining here!
I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered a to-go plate and waited for about 25 minutes near the register. Finally, someone approached me and asked what I had ordered. I told him it was a plate, and he responded that it was still in the back. It turned out my food had been ready for 15 minutes and was just sitting on the counter, where there was a lot of foot traffic. By that point, I wasn't interested in eating it anymore; it looked like a cheap TV dinner.
Definitely go here for fresh food made to order. There are options for gluten-free, dairy-free and meat-free diets. This is counter service restaurant, and you fill your own drinks. My family has tried everything on the menu and liked it. My favorite is the spicy gyro plate. I can get three meals out of it! Thought I knew what a great gyro was until I got here. I'm from Ga but I've been all over the US and can safely say this is the BEST I've ever had. It's pretty darn big too. Really appreciate their t-shirts too. The world needs more of the positivity that this place exudes. Buying another gyro for lunch tomorrow.Kid-friendliness: The kids in here at the moment live the food as much as myself so they're not giving the rents any grief.
Without a doubt, this is the best food I've ever had in my life. You can order anything from the menu, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed! I usually get the extra spicy chicken shawarma and, of course, the falafel. It's so good that I make a 4.5-hour round trip every couple of months just to eat here. Thank you, Yassin, for sharing your amazing food and creating such a welcoming environment in your restaurant!
Very good food! Their hummus is amazing! They also have a homemade hot sauce that has perfect flavor. I was very impressed with the service. The staff is super friendly. My wife and I arrived at 8:30pm. They close at 9:00pm. We offered to get take out butwas assured they didn't mind us eating there. We never felt rushed. Will definitely go back in the near future!
The food was really really good! The gyros were not dry at all! One of the best i have had in the US! It was a little bit on the pricier side but not too pricy! The staff were very lively accommodating and helpful! The restrooms were fine! I woulddefinitely recommend! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The gyro and fries are fantastic! It's truly the best gyro I've ever had! If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should. I've dined at two of their locations multiple times, and I've never had a disappointing meal.
