Great Cuban food! We had a late lunch. We were seated quickly and served within a reasonable amount of time. Family oriented atmosphere with a cool vibe. Plenty of room for a small group. Very affordable. House made Sangria w/sugar rim was my favorite part. It was mildly sweet and very tasty. Cuban sandwich was good and met our expectations. Chicken mojo was a bit dry for my preference, but it still good. I think it really depends on who?s in the kitchen preparing the food. I wanted to give this place an attempt to love him. Unfortunately to say it was terrible is an understatement. came here with my family. At first walking into the smell of mildew and mold, my nose hit. I'm left at this moment. The waitress was nice, as if she was always in a hurry, although there were only 10 people in the restaurant as a whole, 5 of them was my family. A nice little place that seems to be a fusion between Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Tex-Mex. Unfortunately they don?t really specialize in either one it seems. The food is definitely tasty though. The servers are super friendly which was nice. As for food, we loved the plantains, the tres leches cake, the bread pudding is the best I have ever had, the ropa vieja is super tasty, as well as the roasted pork, and the palomilla steak sandwich was really nice. My son and I stayed on my way home from the kayak in E G. Simmons Park. I really loved every aspect of my meal. The place is really nice and comfortable inside. The wall paintings are spectacular. Cuban music in the background complements the experience. The food is fresh. We started with salads and Cuban bread. Their salads are not your average run of mill type; they are tasteful. We love this place. We don't stop as much as we should. Probably a good thing we don't have for the waist, wow. The service is always excellent. The food is always excellent. The portions are always massive. If you're hungry, you owe yourself. I don't remember being able to finish a full meal. Had a quick visit to a Cuban and chip that did not disappoint.
excellent and will definitely be back. as tampa a local I find it great to find Cuban restaurants, and this will stay on my list. ybor salat with the balsamic blue cheese dressing was so perfect. her version of the ranch dressing was also on point. Cuban and palomic sandwiches for lunch were a good choice. great environment and friendly staff.
Nice and clean restaurant. This is a one time visit, they charge extra for everything .35 for lettuce .35 for tomatoes if you order a sandwich and $2.00 for chips). The food was just ok. The steak sandwich didn?t have any flavor. Not authentic Cuban rice and beans. The Ropa Vieja was good. The portions were ok for the price.
