Had been several years since we had been to the Yellow Porch because it is awkward to access from our side of town and Pandemia. Was unsure whether it was still existent but checked and arranged dinner on a Monday night. Found out that the Porch was still there and had the best dinner within recent memory. We were early and the restaurant was empty (filled in later) but we were greeted and received by staff who were pleased we were there. After a really well made Manhattan and a wine we had the mussels for an appetizer and from the specials halibut and duck- A+, A and A+. Banana bread pudding and coffee to complete best and most enjoyable dinner in along time!
We were a later reservation and there was a limited variation of food left. The food was good but recommend going earlier in case food and specials are not available at the end of the night. Also, service could have been a little faster since we were one of two parties in there at the end.
This restaurant is a little drive from downtown Nashville, but that means you get convenient parking and a quiet surrounding. The food is wonderful, the prices are VERY GOOD. We celebrated my daughter;s birthday and hit a free desert which made it extra special!
The wait for our food was long. I enjoy my pork chop but my daughter did not like her pasta. There were pieces of garlic with the skin and some pieces were uncooked. The creek brûlée was good but the top was burnt.

I brought my wife here for her birthday. the personal is very friendly. eating is delicious. we really enjoyed our experience here. I would recommend definitiw the yellow porch if they were looking for a date.
my man and I came here for a date night in the city for a holiday. eating was amazing and the service was great. my man and I have decided at any time that we are back in town, we will come back!
Portions are smaller, prices are higher, just like everywhere else, but for a brisket burger?? Cheese fritters and mussels are the best anywhere!
Food was fantastic. Every bite each of us has was absolutely delicious. A bit pricy, but great for a date night or special event.
