This is my favorite chinse restaurant. The food is great, and the servers are very attentive. It seems a bit pricey, but the flavors are worth it.I always have the Seafood Sizzling Bowl. The rice is prepared in toasted, crisp waffer like chunks that compliments the shrimp, pee pods, and slivers of beef.It is in a busy location across from the Galleria Shopping Mall. There is off street parking available just south of the restaurant. If you exit behind the buildings, there is a stoplight for an easy left turn on Brentwood Avenue.
Yen Ching was one of the first places I tried after moving to the city, and they have some of the best Chinese food. The portions are huge, and everything tasted much better than your typical takeout. The service was also great, and when we couldn’t finish our food, our server packaged everything for us into little to-go boxes. They’re right across from the mall, and I would highly recommend stopping by instead of trying to wait in line at a food court. It’s well worth the walk across the street.
Legitimately good Chinese cuisine. Yen Ching has been a neighborhood staple of what Chinese SHOULD taste like. The interior itself is somewhat dated but nowhere close to falling apart. Parking is not optimal, but a small price to pay for great eats. The prices are on the moderate side, I wouldn't put the price points at expensive, but this isn't the cheapest place to feed a family of 5. Overall, the service and food are excellent. You will not be disappointed with your order.
Food was pretty good. Crab Rangoon, Pot Stickers, Sesame Chicken Yen Ching Beef was $69.35. The prices were 70% higher than on the Yelp menu. Be sure and go to their actual website for prices so you are not surprised. Also for almost $70 they only gave us 3 packets of soy sauce and 4 of sweet and sour sauce so be specific on how many you want.

Arrived at 8-05 pm on Sunday to be informed that restaurant was closing half and hour before because “they have too many orders today”. I am all for patronizing local establishments but if you don’t honor your posted times then you don’t value the time of your patrons.
Very overpriced for portion and quality. Cashew chicken was mainly celery, green peppers and cashews with barely any chicken. All cube chopped and soaked in sauce with no flavor. Not recommended.
GOT FOOD POISONING! DO NOT EAT HERE! WHEN WE CAME HERE EVERYONE WAS SICK AND THROWING UP FOR 2 DAYS AFTER! THE BATHROOM WAS DISGUSTING!
I’ve been going here for 30 yrs. Service not what it used to be. Poor recent wait staff experiences with premium prices.

Ordered take out. No napkins, utensils, or flavor. Ordered to take back to hotel and had to toss it!!! $60 gone!!!
Excellent pot stickers moo shu chicken and hot and sour soup. Also love their vegetable deluxe.
