My family and I had been planning to visit this restaurant for a while, and today we finally decided to give it a try. When we arrived around 5 o'clock, we were unsure if it was a 'seat yourself' or 'please wait to be seated' establishment since there was no sign indicating either. We approached the bartender, who was the first person we saw, to ask. His response was unexpected, as he asked us if we had a reservation and then made a crude remark to a customer at the bar. Feeling uncomfortable, especially since we were with my elderly parents, we decided to leave and dine at a different restaurant nearby. This is a fantastic local spot with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the menu is simple but tasty (don't miss out on the baklava and ice cream for dessert!). The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The space is a bit tight, but they make it work with the tables (even for those in a wheelchair). They have live games on TV at the bar and belly dancers on Fridays. Our group of 5 enjoyed dinner with appetizers, salads, grilled plates, and delicious baklava ice cream for $178 plus tip. Our dinner there was fantastic. We went on a Friday evening, before the dinner rush. The caprese appetizer was wonderful. The Rib eye was grilled to perfection, and the sampler had a little bit of everything. Make sure to try the beer (Septem). We showed up too early for the belly dancer that they informed us comes in at 7pm. We'll definitely be back to enjoy that next time. Our new favorite restaurant in Carmichael!

The food was delicious, the service was okay, but the noise level was so loud that it was distracting and annoying. Unfortunately, this will prevent me from coming back in the future.

I absolutely adore Yianni's. Their Greek cuisine is fantastic. The service is exceptional. I will definitely be coming back.
