When we arrived around 5 o'clock, we were unsure if it was a 'seat yourself' or 'please wait to be seated' establishment since there was no sign indicating either. We approached the bartender, who was the first person we saw, to ask. His response was unexpected, as he asked us if we had a reservation and then made a crude remark to a customer at the bar. This is a fantastic local spot with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the menu is simple but tasty (don't miss out on the baklava and ice cream for dessert!). The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The space is a bit tight, but they make it work with the tables (even for those in a wheelchair). They have live games on TV at the bar and belly dancers on Fridays. Our group of 5 enjoyed dinner with appetizers, salads, grilled plates, and delicious baklava ice cream for $178 plus tip. Our dinner there was fantastic. We went on a Friday evening, before the dinner rush. The caprese appetizer was wonderful. The Rib eye was grilled to perfection, and the sampler had a little bit of everything. Make sure to try the beer (Septem). We showed up too early for the belly dancer that they informed us comes in at 7pm. We'll definitely be back to enjoy that next time. Our new favorite restaurant in Carmichael!
I have patroned here a handful of times in the last couple years. The last visit all my food was soaked in vinegar and or lenon. My salad was so sour that I just ate the block of cheese on it and my rice was drenched in lemon. Both made my mouth pucker. My 30 dollar calamari was soggy and tasteless, we barely got waited on and our bill was about 70 dollars over. Sadly, we will not be returning. Food: 3

Overall, I would rate this restaurant a perfect 5 out of 5 in all categories. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The price per person for a dinner meal ranged from $50 to $100. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.

I absolutely adore Yianni's. Their Greek cuisine is fantastic. The service is exceptional. I will definitely be coming back.
The food at this restaurant is superb. I particularly enjoy the village salad, the feta cheese is exceptional.
