My husband and I have eaten at this great little sushi restaurant for years. We live out of town and enjoy going to hear great music at Festival Place. We always dine at Yoshi Sushi before the concert as it is nearby and it has always been fabulous. We typically have the vegetable tempura to start which is a must and then share several of their specialty rolls. We like to try new ones and the servers have been very helpful in making excellent recommendations. Don’t miss this little gem of a place! We are certainly happy we discovered it years ago!
Had THE BEST NIGHT at Yoshi’s tonight! They made my nephew feel SOOOO SPECIAL and everyone else too…AMAZING! The food was also delicious!!! If you go on a Tuesday you may even be lucky enough to try Ben’s SPECIAL SALMON soup-DELICIOUS! If you have not been on the town in awhile treat yourself to an amazing night at Yoshi’s AND if you regularly dine out make Yoshi’s your next STOP! Cheers Yoshi’s! You guys are AMAZING! BEST food service that I have seen in Sherwood Park in a very long time! WW!
The food is rated as 3 out of 5, the service is superb at 5 out of 5, but the atmosphere only gets a 1 out of 5. The restaurant has a very old and unclean look, with dirty mirrors and staff members eating their own meals next to our table while wearing the same apron they use for cooking. They even left the table to serve us in between bites of their soup. Additionally, the inside of the restaurant was very cold, to the point where customers needed to wear a jacket to stay comfortable.
I've been coming here now for years and have to say its great sushi but lacks atmosphere and speed to get your food. I know its tough at times to get the food out in a speedy fashion without compromising the quality but this is where they drop the ball. Only time I come in is when I know I have time to wait or I just take out. Even then it takes twice as long as they say it will. Reason I keep coming back is the sushi quality and value. Hope they some how figure it out.
Amazing tuna sashimi! And the tempura is so light it defies description. It's our favorite Japanese restaurant... And for those that don't fancy typical Japanese sushi their udon noodle dishes are superior too. This was a special wedding anniversary so we spent more to celebrate the occasion but you can have a remarkable dinner for much less
Fresh food but bland, No parking. We visited their Edmonton downtown location on 107 st. Good portion size. Clean and neat , nice ambiance. we ordered beef ramen miso soup didn’t like it), and deluxe bento box which was better than the ramen soup.
Portions here are pretty decent. Recommend the New Age Roll, Unagi roll, and rainbow roll. I'd stay away from the agedashi tofu, as it came out soggy and oil used to fry the tofu seemed old. Surprisingly the tempura was really good!
Absolutely the best place in the area. I drive over 2hours to eat here. Peter and the staff never disappoints. If your a newbie or seasoned vet this place will have something for everyone.
Absolutely amazing. Peter and staff attention to details is on point. Food perfect . Fresh and each dish was better then the one before. Quiet environment great spot for lunch or dinner
