Being almost novices when it comes to Dim Sum dining, my wife and I had had a few issues on our visit to Yum Cha House. Firstly, there is an a la carte menu and diners are free to order from this. However, upon being seated a slip with "Emma's Dim Sum Restaurant" is placed on the table. A little confusing! Wouldn't be an idea to ask diners if they wanted dim sum or a la carte when they arrive? I realise that one can combine the two but this isn't explained. We started with a very acceptable Chinese tea and then proceeded to make selections from the trolleys that came round at irregular intervals. The food is ok, passable but nothing spectacular. It is very greasy and I think the steamed dumplings are not fresh based on the texture of the dough (the taste is ok though). The service however, needs some work. We came here for a work lunch and they squeezed 12 of us on a table for 8 which was not ideal. However, the boss lady kept yelling at us whenever we asked for something - one of our guys asked if we could get chilli oil and the lady yelled at her "I told you it's coming out with the tea". Ugh. After we ordered all we needed we got no service to top up our tea.
came for dim sum as usual local one was closed for lunch that day.it was so disappointing. staff were very abrupt. bbq pork rice flour rolls were the worst ive ever had, obviously not fresh and reheated in the microwave. squid tentacles were fine. steamed prawn dumplings were full but bland. the egg tarts were not nice. the baked bbq pork puffs were full of tough meat.we also had pork buns and those footyball shaped things that were fine. I ordered beef ho fun with egg sauce to take away, it was the worst one ive ever had. wont be returning
First time at this restaurant tonight, caught up with a local friend for dinner ...we had two dishes from the yum cha trolley - steamed Sui Mai and steamed Prawn dumplings. They were ok.For mains off the menu we enjoyed special Thai fried rice (with chicken, prawns, pineapple and onions) plus the Beijing style crispy beef - one of my favourite dishes whenever I find on a menu. Staff were friendly with reasonably quick service - recommended.

Gerichte sind nicht frisch und die Produkte ist nicht frisch. Ein bisschen teuer für Portionen pro Platte und keine sehr saubere Umgebung. Würde diesen Ort nicht treffen, wenn Sie nicht bereit sind, matschige Baos und kalte Knödel zu haben.
We have patronised this restaurant many times over the years. The prices have gone up but sadly the service is still non-existent .The taste is still average. The one positive is ample parking spots available.
Dishes aren't fresh and the produce isn't fresh. A bit pricey for servings per plate and not a very clean environment. Wouldn't hit this place up unless you're prepared to have soggy baos and cold dumplings.
Nice but have had better.I don't think I will be returning as I found the food just so so but it was well patronize.There was easy for all including wheelchairs

I had heard great reviews about this place and a friend had recommended it to me, but the food was horrible, as was the service
We use to come here regularly but have have found that the quality of food has dropped since originally opening.
