This place is just so cute and has so many options! Stop by Yummies for a delicious quick treat! They have a variety of sausages and hotdogs you can choose from or you can make your own with whatever toppings you want! They also have a variety of specialty sandwiches to choose from, or again, you can just simply make your own custom one!! They also have yummie (hehe get it? sides such as wings! I got their Cajun wings with a spicy mayo on the side and it was amazing! The pricing is good and the portions are also good. They made the food right in front of us and gave it to us piping hot! You just have to wait a little while. That is the only annoying part. But in return, you do get fresh food...
To start my review, I must say that the staff is excellent. As soon as we walked in, they gave us plenty of time to decide on our orders and even offered us free samples of their dishes. The homemade chili was outstanding. I ordered the ribeye steak cheesesteak, which was very tasty. My wife had the banana boat, made with plantains, chili, and guacamole, and she loved it. The kids enjoyed their chili dogs, which were also excellent. We added drinks and cheese fries to our meal, and the total came to just $33. You really can’t go wrong here—the lunch and dinner menus are fantastic. I can't wait to return and try the burgers!
I just found out that Yummies has permanently shut down. It's another hot dog spot that's gone for good. The hot dog industry is challenging due to the lower prices compared to many other restaurants, and I can only imagine how high the rent is for a business located on Route 22, particularly in Scotch Plains. On top of that, businesses have faced numerous challenges in recent years. It's truly unfortunate to see a business close its doors. For the owners, I’m sure this decision was incredibly difficult. Yummies was a fantastic place to enjoy a hot dog or a burger.
I had a chili cheese dog topped with raw onions and a side of seasoned fries. It was absolutely delicious, and the hot dog had just the right amount of snap. The only downside was the standard buns, which weren't as impressive. Otherwise, everything was wonderful, and I definitely plan to return!

I don't know what made me stop there buy I am very happy I did! I had my test meal a burger and fries. Great burger cooked to order boring fries (perfect) I like plain and simple to start then build on a great base. No more BowCraft but a place worth a try.

This place is an absolute blast! I enjoyed a fantastic bratwurst and met some really friendly people. The menu is exciting and offers some unique options that you won't find anywhere else in the area!
Very rude kept asking them what toppings do you guys have not responding to anything we was asking and was giving us attitude wouldn't feed my dog went there food was horrible everything tasted raw

Great name for this place. Had a homemade sausage with chili and cheese. Very good and Turkey chili was on the money. Bread was toasted some great combo. I will return
The Chicago dog was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return and sample many of the other menu items!
