I'm not even sure where to start this review. first I had so good things about how delicious that was eating and how juicy and unbelievable the empanadas were and unnecessary to say I am incredibly disappointed by this place! my friend and I have hunted empanadas, but not had much time because I worked. we found this place over google and thought to let it try. now I will first say that I have everything about supporting local business especially in hard times! we arrived at 7:45 clock, which is late, but we were hungry. we ordered 6 jerk chicken empanadas and 3 creole chicken empanadas. the total amount was $34. when we came back to work, we immediately grabbed more tell and tumbled into th...
first line was the young lady who took my job, nice. However, I know that it is not a big thing, but I was charged for two items that ruck and creole huhn yumpandadas $1 more. the price on the Kisok menu and the To-go menu says $3,75 I asked the lady why I was charged these prices and she said these are the new ones. I asked why weren't the new prices on both menus, she couldn't give me a reason. the young lady called the manager to see if I could get a refund I said no. all in all she was nice, but I was calculated wrong. false advertising. if they have changed their prices in the computer when their menu prices need to reflect.
very good veggie filled empanadas, but I felt bad for the employees working solo to take the order and prep food. this was my first visit, so I fully acknowledge that it can not always be so, and that this could have been the result of someone who calls out or has a need, etc. I hope that is not the norm. it made for slow service and I felt worried for the 1 person who all have to do work.
Parking was great, right out front on a saturday afternoon ~1PM. Quick and friendly service and very tasty! Especially the sauces! I'd take pictures but it smelled too good to not eat it immediately!
