This is absolutely the best Indian restaurant in the Bayside area. That's not to say it's perfect. The only negatives? Zaika, unlike most Indian, do not supply complementary Papadums on arrival - a sad economy that sets an unfavourable comparison. The second issue is the amount of chicken that comes with the Chicken Tikka - it's a pretty small portion - when we first went, the pieces were almost double the current size.That said, everything else from the greeting on arrival, the service, the food is just spot on! Have been many times, but not in the last 12 months or so due trying other Indian restaurants that have opened or changed handsWent back this week, found it still to be good & consistant standard.Like most restaurants which provide hot/spicy foods a couple of visits normally required to get the heat right. Zaika seems to have a good handle on the Aussie 1~10 temp scale. Reasonable pricing, byo or licensed
This is one of our regular Indian treats. There is a wide choice of Indian curries and dishes but you cannot go past the Butter Chicken. One serve is never enough for our family. Curries cater for varying degrees of spiciness. The service is always friendly and efficient. Great for take away as well. Dimple is very up to date with gluten free requirements.

We have tried few other Indian restaurants in this area, but nothing can be compared with Zaika for its flavours. The flavours are amazing. Value for the price. Zaika is our favourite takeaway Indian restaurant in this area. It is a simple restaurant which pampers your taste buds to come back again.
Wonderful Indian food and we regularly visit here. It is consistently good. Great flavours. They have a tandoor oven. The only downside is the smell from the oven is quite strong so it makes your clothes smell quite heavily afterwards- but aside from that it is great. Byo.
We recently dined with our Vegan friends at Zaika. The staff were very accommodating of our friends dietary requirements and the food was delicious. The restaurant is not modern but has a cosy atmosphere.

We did a few take aways and once went for a dinner. Nice, tasty food, good for money Staff is friendly and food was delivered quick.
