Located near the corner of Union Turnpike and Parsons Blvd. in Fresh Meadows, Zen Fusion is the perfect lunch spot for the nearby Saint John 's University crowd. There is something for every taste. The sushi is terrific, including their original salmon pizza , which is much more interesting than standard salmon sushi or sashimi. If you like tempura sushi dishes, this is your place. The shrimp tempura is particularly good and leaves you wanting more. And why not? The lunch prices are very reasonable, and the environment is modern, and comfortable. If your date is not a fan of sushi, fear not. The menu is extensive, full of traditional mandarin cuisine and thai dishes. You won 't be disappoint...
The food was fantastic—delicious and beautifully presented. However, there was a little girl, a relative of someone connected to the restaurant, who kept coughing and wandering around. She was quite literally coughing near us. I understand she's just a child, but her guardians weren't managing the situation well. This raised concerns about the hygiene standards in the kitchen.
The restaurant is quite nice, though I don't think many people are aware of it. The food is just average at best. I ordered the twin lobster, and it arrived cold with a teriyaki-like sauce. The wings were decent, but the pineapple fried rice didn't come served in a pineapple as I expected. The cocktails were okay, priced at $8.95 each. Overall, I'd rate the food a 3 out of 5.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was subpar, and the quality of the food was disappointing. The staff was quite disrespectful. They messed up my order and refused to correct it, and I was overcharged even though I didn't eat the roll. I will definitely not be returning. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Based on the location I did not think this was going to be much to write about but boy was I wrong. The decor inside is lively and seems like a great spot to get dinner (I got lunch). The food was extremely fresh and was delicious. I would definitely go there again and would be tempted to go out of my way to get there if need be.
Ordered a tray of Sushi to go and it was delicious! The tempura rolls were sweet and crunchy, and the sashimi was fresh. I don’t really understand where all these negative reviews are coming from, but my family really enjoyed this tray. Furthermore, the staff was really nice and I loved the ambiance when I picked up my food.
The lunch special is pre-inflation prices and the food is very good! My kids always get the chicken katsu bento box, and I get the lunch special maki rolls. Get the hot tea too. You'll keep coming back!Food: 5/5
