There was a slight mixup with our reservation- we were seated upstairs waiting for our party, and when they arrived were seated downstairs. Apparently new greeters working NYE. The waiters were excellent and the food was outstanding. Appetizers- calamari, burratta, and eggplant were all delicious and waiters divided them for the party. Entrees were fabulous- I had short ribs perhaps best I ever had. Side dishes of roasted potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli rabe were excellent. Busboys were a little over eager to take dishes away while still eating, and reaching over me while eating- but seemed young and inexperienced and it was NYE. I can't say enough good things about Zero Otto. I've visited their location in the Bronx, but this time I decided to try the one in Tuckahoe. I was truly impressed by both the service and the food. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a very romantic atmosphere. The food was exceptional. We started with the fava bean and artichoke cheese appetizer, along with a tri-color salad. I found myself craving the fava bean dish the very next day. For our main courses, we had the black sea bass special and the chicken scarpariello, both were delicious and beautifully presented. We're already planning our next visit from Queens!
Have enjoyed dinner here in the past however, this was not a shining moment for them. The Cacio Pepe was not seasoned (mixed) evenly, leaving portions without taste (pepper). The Sea Bass was overly salty and the Steak was a bit tough and cold. Not sure what's going here, maybe and off night or a problem with the chef. In my opinion at todays prices there's no room for error. Will visit again and see if they correct their problems.
The restaurant decor is very Italian reminded me of restaurants in Italy. It was made to look that way. Lovely. The food was delicious. I ate the halibut which is served with mussels and clams, prepared with white wine. I didn’t have the chief prepare it with a light tomato sauce. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Server Aldo (and the rest) took very good care of my family. We enjoyed the delish meal (marsala, rigatoni, etc) but the service honestly was the best part. Happy New Year to your lovely establishment. We will be back!
Service and food were excellent, we ate in the backroom which is beautiful and comfortable for a group. We were not rushed at all. Try the homemade deconstructed cannoli, its fantastic!
“Rigatoni Salernitana” is a pasta dish that my Grandmother made. This was just as delicious and very rich. It has mini meatballs, egg, soppressata, and more!
As always food exceeds everything and we always get the same server and he is EXCELLENT! Zero never disappoints we go often it’s our neighborhood fave!
