It's a great shame when a restaurant becomes a victim of it's own success, and sadly Zizi's busy periods are affecting the quality of service. The waitress that took us to our table didn't return, or assign a waiter/waitress to look after us. After waiting for 20 minutes, I decided to go to the bar myself to order water and other drinks. It's a shame because the food is good and excellent value for money. The waitress that finally looked after us saved the meal from being a complete disaster.
Zizzi Surbiton, 38 Victoria Road KT6 4JL This Zizzi's is great if you want to go out for an early evening meal, its not too busy, but starts to fill up with the local people at around 7:45PM so if you arrive later then this with out a reservation you may find it hard to find a table. The waiting staff are very polite and helpful, but can be a little slow when the resaurant becomes busy. A nice place to eat and relax with friends over a glass of wine or beer in the evening.
We had a table for 8, and although I had booked on top table they didn't have my booking but still managed to find us a table probably because it was early in the evening. We had 3 kids and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was great and the selection of wine and beers were good. They are also happy for the children to go and watch the chefs cook. Its a bit pricy but is always reliably good and one of our kids favourite places to eat in Surbiton.
Zizzis offer a good menu with fresh ingredients and lots of variety The rest is busy and vibrant but the service lacked for us the personal and customer focused approach that you often get with a smaller independent rest . We both enjoyed our meal but something was lacking . Lack lustre springs to mind .For us it was just ok ,nothing more. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
great facilities. including sauna. personal trainer very competent, polite and experienced. would be great if the membership were not in all classes, as some of us just want to use the gym. monthly Member States for expensive. option will create more clientele. too expensive! people for places fitness £18.99 per month!
surprisingly good food, excellent customer service. beautiful place to hide with small child on a rainy day. there are small but ok equipped playground, friendly staff, good enough coffee. also child ballet and gimnastic classes run from profis from local dance and gymnastics studios in affordable trips.
I went to the restaurant for my friend's birthday and decided to order the Sea Bream for my main dish. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with it as it was overcooked and chewy, not what I expected from a fish dish. I won't be going back to this restaurant anytime soon.
Please note that Zizzi in Surbiton does not accept Toptable cheques, even though it is bookable through Toptable. Otherwise, the service was friendly and efficient, and the pizzas were excellent. The restaurant is busy in the evenings, which makes it very noisy. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We were a group of three with one vegetarian amongst us. Menu was good as was the food and service. Friday was a busy night, but we still got personal attention from the wait staff. Shame there are no offers for the weekend period!
