This is the second time I have visited a Zoes Kitchen. The first time was so memorable that I vowed to find another one when I had the chance. I am located in Northern New Jersey and most Zoes Kitchen's are about an hour or more from me. I happened to be on a job near Philly and when I realized there were several locations near me I was ecstatic. These people really take the time to make sure the food is prepared properly. The steak kebabs were juicy and full of flavor. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken kebab was also tender and flavorful. The food here is great, it's a good healthy alternative for dinner! The staff is friendly, but they tend to forget stuff from orders. First time I had ordered kabobs and they forgot the lemon herb tahini (not the worst thing, but kabobs aren't complete without the sauce). Second time they forgot one of the sides that came from my order! I'll order from them again, but I definitely can't forget to check the bag before I leave.
The food was awful. Cold and looked like left over. The chicken was rubbery and tasteless. The pasta salad was like beans, hard with barely sauce. The table was dirty. I asked them to clean it up. I don't recommend it at all.
I like zoes but not every location does it right. This one though, does. And I really appreciate it. The staff is friendly, the food is clean. I really like eating at this specific one.
