I questioned her about the price increase and explained that the first woman had told me the substitution would keep the price the same. She insisted it was more expensive due to the extra egg. Frustrated, I said that it wasn't fair, especially since I had been given a price over the phone. The staff member then suggested putting the egg in a small container, but I refused, stating I had ordered the regular plate for $8.00, just as I was told.

I’m giving this place 1 star due to the service. The food is excellent, but there are significant issues. They don't answer the phone unless someone who speaks English is available, so when I call, I often can’t understand what they’re saying. Additionally, their closing time is misleading. While it claims to be open until 7:30, they now say they close at 7, and today I arrived to find the restaurant closed at 6:35. This kind of false advertising is unfair. They really need someone who can at least take orders in basic English. Please, at the very least, stick to your posted closing time; I’ve seen customers arriving only to find the place already closed.
This is the best Dominican restaraunt in New York City. I love ordering the Dominican breakfast (Mangu) here. Everything is priced perfectly and the food is delicious. The woman in front is so sweet, welcoming, and nice. I love coming here and seeing her in the mornings, she can turn my terrible morning upside down with her cheerful personality. If you are ever in queens, Zoilitas is a must!
The mangu is always spot on; I always get the large portion with an extra egg. They really know how to draw you in, and the staff is always friendly. I've been coming here for years, and her food remains fantastic. I recently tried the fried pork with her green sauce, and it was absolutely incredible.

I was craving Dominican food and had no idea this place was right on Parsons! The birria was incredibly tender and juicy—I'll definitely be returning. The prices are great and portion sizes are generous. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall spot, but the food is fantastic and the place is very clean.
The mangu is always on point, I get the large with an extra egg. They hook you up in there and their always nice. I have been going here for years and their food is still amazing. Tried the fried pork the other day with they green sauce and bit my tongue it was amazing.
Food was spectacular. I'm a Texas tourist and came with my friend in the summer. I remember how good and affordable the food was. I just wish her menu was bigger, or they had small menus for customers. And that they would sell small doses of coke.

Tastes like home! When I’m away studying, I miss the food my family cooks. I’d rather go here than the other fast food joints around. Good pricing and good food. People are friendly. Love it
