My parents have been regulars at Zhouji Dumpling House for years. I consider my parents to be somewhat aficionados of Chinese food. The first time my Dad went to China was 1979, and since then has spent a near lifetime as a ?sinophile,? traveling with my mom repeatedly for business and pleasure So when they recommend Zhouji Dumpling House, one should take it seriously. I have eaten there with them multiple times, and the food is consistently high quality and delicious. The prices went up and are different from the menu online. Below is the updated menu with the current prices for November 2021. While the vegetable soup dumpling were absolutely amazing, we found the regular vegetable dumplings and the rest of the food to be only good/ok a bit on the oily side. I?m giving it a 4 because the service was beyond slow. Our waiter was so kind but after sitting down it took him 30 minutes to take our order and another 15 minutes just to bring out our drinks, keep in mind we were the only guest in the restaurant. Service could definitely improve!!
Was hoping this place was going to be ?the one?. We?ve tried a lot of places around here. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The chicken and broccoli barely had any chicken at all in it. Never experienced such a thing?very bizarre?there were about 4-5 pieces and the entire container was practically broccoli. For $17 that?s just not okay. This place is really delicious! If you would like something a little different than the traditional Chinese takeout then try this place! I lived in Flushing, Queens for six years and recently moved back to LI. Missing this style of cooking I am so excited to have a good place like this near by! Wishing this place the best of luck!
If you ever wanted to try authentic Chinese food, Zouji is the place. Soup dumplings are a must. Youtube how to eat them properly before you try. The lamb and cumin OMG as well as the stir fry noodles are delish. My husband loves the broth of the beef noodle soup and if you want to get fancy order the Peking Duck.
Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I have had. A very good price for high quality food and they serve soup dumplings which most Chinese restaurants don't have. I would recommend this place over any other Chinese food restaurant in the area.
