We decided to have dinner here because I work for Dpd and I regularly deliver to Zucco's. I have seen how hard the owner his team works from early doors every morning, so I thought with the amount of graft goes in, it's got to be worth a try. Well what can I say the food was absolutely unreal, every dish we had was exquisite. Authentic fresh food made with love. You have to experience it to see how truly delicious it is. I've been to this Italian restaurant a few times now and it is fantastic. The food is delicious and there is plenty of option on the menu. The dishes are a nice sized portion, they are just right and not too big. There is a good choice of cocktails on the drinks menu and the desserts are yummy especially the cannoli. The staff are all very attentive and welcoming. There is a lovely atmosphere and the decor is beautiful with pretty flowers on the tables. It is definitely a five star restaurant!
Absolutely fantastic. We decided to make a reservation after reading Jay Rayner's review, and we were not let down at all. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The pricing was fair considering the quality of the food. The wine list was impressive, with a great variety available by the glass or carafe, which was ideal for our lunch. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a meal as much as I did here. This was my first trip to this jewel of a restaurant and literally down the road from my home. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our food, drinks service. Forget about the city centre with its expensive car parking. This restaurant is a MUST TRY! The pan fried sea bass was excellent. The tagliatelle salmon just melted in the mouth. The deep fried zucchini with mint was delicious. A warm family atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.
Fantastic restaurant! Perfect for a family celebration! It was my daughters 20th birthday and we were staying in Meanwood! She is at the UNI Delicious authentic Italian food! Not just pizza and pasta but lots of specialities to suit everyone’s taste Such friendly staff who go out if their way to give you a great experience! We will be back!
