"really impressed, the workers were all nice and helpful, proaktiw, help us swim, etc. and when they were short in the bar that all smiled, laugh and make sure that the atmosphere was beautiful. the bar area is good and the r eat really good, we had children's dishes and the burgers who were brilliant. had an excellent stay and 100% would be back"

"This pub is lovely, and it seems to have been recently renovated. Although I didn't try the food, they have a pub quiz on Thursdays at 9pm (when the kitchen is closed) which is enjoyable for non-British tourists and a lot of fun. If I had to choose a pub in Windermere, I would say this is the best one. It's cozy with a fire in the winter, but not as dark and gloomy as most pubs."
