The food is good and the waitresses are friendly, but the front desk staff is not so great. They always seem to be in a bad mood. I called to check if the shower worked and it was terrible - worse than using a hose outside! There was no air conditioning, fan, mirror, wash rag. After showering, I started sweating immediately. I had to finish getting ready in the game room. I'm not sure if I will ever eat there again.
I ordered chicken fried steak two over medium eggs well done potatoes chicken fried steak was overcooked the crust was hard the eggs were just fine. Food is on point, I find myself looking at other people food and it be looking so good. I get my usual 2 eggs scramble with chesse, homefries (burn them), bacon and rye toast. Their chesse grits are good and I always love the can cornbread hash. Pancake are good and French toast is better. This restaurant Rocks ????
Decent place to stop by for any driver for a shower, fuel and meal. It's on a smaller side, so space is limited. Got the chili(not best I've gotten) but a generous portion for the price. Food is great, big portions at a great price. Told my husband I don’t see the point of ever going to metro diner again because this place is $25 cheaper and just as good! Keep doing what you’re doing 301!
