We had a reservation at 5:00 pm for 2 of us. Arrived/seated timely. Server was very nice and talkative but he took our order, brought our bottle of wine and then literally disappeared. Our food was brought by someone else who literally dropped it and ran off. No one checked to see if our steaks were cooked to the correct temp or if we needed anything else. The steaks were great but we had to flag someone down to get horseradish. We sat there with my husband's plate being empty and me waiting for a box for more than 30 minutes. Some might say it’s overpriced, but I believe the prices are just right for the quality you receive. I've tried everything from bone marrow to prime rib, and the side dishes are served family-style, which is perfect for groups wanting to sample a bit of everything along with their entrée. I highly recommend starting with the bone marrow as an appetizer. It would be great if they could add a few more non-alcoholic beverages to their menu, but overall, it's a wonderful place to treat yourself for a night out. I can honestly say that this is one of my absolute favorite restaurants I've encountered in all my travels throughout the United States. Just a heads up, it can be quite pricey. It's not the spot for a cheap steak, but it is definitely the place to go for an unforgettable dining experience featuring incredible steak. They also offer a fantastic selection of cocktails, whiskeys, and wines. As I often mention in my five-star reviews, the staff here is wonderful; they truly make you feel at home. This is, without a doubt, the best place for steak in the entire city—just had to emphasize that again!
We immediately felt welcomed, I had noted in the reservation that it was for an anniversary and they had special menus that said Happy Anniversary and hearts on the table, the server was excellent and did a great job walking us through the options even the off menu ones. We ordered off the Sunday night fixe price menu and were very happy with our meals! I had the 6 oz. filet and it was absolutely delicious the rest of the sides were also very good but I would say the portions were on the smaller side, especially the dessert so that was a little disappointing. Service was also very good. We were celebrating an anniversary and we had a lot of fun!
