Good wine unctuous sauternes, delicious white merlot and a good st emilion but a few disappointing factors no snacks with the initial drinks, poor cheap baguette bread, varying service and rather overpriced dishes. The cassoulet was confused, small, and expensive at 24 euros you could play a game of where's ducky for the meat. The maigret and tuna were good. The cheese was ok but again expensive at 21 euros and the chocolate fondant were dry biscuits they'd get thoroughly booed off on a cookery show. It's a shame cool vibe, nice guys and I think the wine list could take serious investigation but we left feeling a little ripped off at north of 130 euros.
after a long frustrating day, we literally stumbled on sous la robe when several other restaurants were unexpectedly closed (can call it serenity for election day, but that was an amazing experience of wine and eating (and wine). everything we tasted was wonderful and we also bought bottles. super nice owners and a great overall vitus made this a wonderful experience. can not recommend very enough.
Can't rate this place higher, we have lived and travelled all over the world and this is possibly the best run bar we have been to. The attention to detail with the wine, cheese and delightful menu, plus the personal service is above and beyond anything else you will find in the area. A fantastic example of French fare and hospitality!

Fabulous! St emilion gets rather quiet rather early so we wanted one more to end the night, this place is perfect. Classy but not pretentious. I have never met a barman in a late night bar be so attentive to recommendations and service. I wish we found this place earlier!
This is such a cool and stylish wine bar! The owners are really friendly and knowledgeable about the wine list and happy to advise. All the wines we have tried have been delicious. Such a great place to relax with great music and ambience.
The owners welcomed us from the moment we walked in. Their knowledge and variety of wines are exceptional, and the tapas is a must try each dish and if the cheese board is phenomenal.
extra service, super duck magret board and the most surprising it is the tuna board, a real delight. the bosses are very friendly and smiling. a great place I recommend. ♪

This is a beautiful place to taste some wine and eat some delightful snacks. It is extremely relaxing with well spaced out seating .
