This was our second visit to this restaurant. The first time, the food took a long time to come out. This time, it came out fairly quickly. The spinach and artichoke dip was too creamy for my liking. The pita and chips were of good quality. The chili was a bit spicy, but still tasty. I ended up taking the salad to go. The onion rings were fantastic and a must-order. However, the wait time for the check was very long, which is why I deducted a star. Takeout was no problem at all. I think we may opt for takeout in the future to avoid long wait times. One of the worst dinning experiences in a long time. Sat down and waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the table. We then waited another 45 minutes for two simple hamburgers and a side of fries to be brought to the table. I got the LEMMY had an overcooked burger, old cheese and one very small tomato. The biggest disappointment was that the burger has only one little piece of bacon. Have been before years ago and came back with a party of 4 to give it another try since we were near downtown Cary. We were seated promptly and wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately those were the only positives. Ordered chicken taquitos for the appetizer and they were terrible. Chicken wasn 't seasoned and fortunately they were taken off the bill. I used to come to this restaurant regularly years ago, but decided to give it another try on a weeknight. My partner ordered Fish and Chips, but was surprised to receive hush puppies instead of fries on the side. After some back and forth with the waitress, we finally got our fries. Unfortunately, my partner found the fish to be rubbery and tasteless, like it was old and frozen. We were also annoyed to find a 3% credit card fee added to the bill without prior notice. After speaking to the manager and explaining our dissatisfaction, he eventually removed the fee and comped the fish meal. The burgers are still tasty, but they are smaller than before. However, the mozzarella sticks were delicious. My spouse tried the shrimp pita and liked it. Unfortunately, you can no longer order a mix of onion rings and fries. The onion rings don't taste as good as they used to. The prices are similar to other bar and grill restaurants. If I had never visited before the pandemic, I would have enjoyed my recent visit more. The quality and portion sizes have slightly decreased while the prices have gone up. It's disappointing when both of those things happen. It's still a decent meal if you live nearby, but it's no longer a must-visit destination.
I am working here for a couple of days out of town and I really wanted some boneless wings. The environment felt nice although I did get my order to go. I have to say I am a little disappointed. These are just chicken breast cut up and sauced not a bit of crunch or texture to them.. I also got some sweet potato fries. They were pretty good, but I was a little disappointed they didn't come with anything to dip them in.
World Famous Burgers I got the pimento bacon burger and it was the soggiest, blandest burger I 've had in a while. I refuse to believe a burger can be world famous if you don 't even take the time to toast the buns. $15 for that burger felt like a slap in the cheeks. Ambiance is chill though. They have good service and seem to have good drink specials. Just don 't get the food.
This place is great! The food was awesome, and the beer selection was large. The waitstaff was really attentive, making the experience even better. It's exactly what you're looking for if you want some good bar food. The interior has a cool old school vibe to it. I would definitely come here again.

I have never had a bad experience at Abbey Road. Me and the wife will go often on Fridays for the live music. They have a great selection and everything I've ordered has been great!
