Absolutely and utterly delicious! Breathtakingly good. Never have I eaten at an Italian restaurant that had me gasp at every bite.It was clear and obvious the quality of the food and the fact that it was homemade.we ordered:See the video for yourself, the meat is actually falling off the bone. so tender, so juicy and riddled with flavor. A battle I had was continuing to eat more while realizing I was getting too full! Great portion sizes!I'm counting the days until we return. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant, and we had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The staff was extremely accommodating and honored our seating request made during our reservation. Our waiter was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for both drinks and dinner. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS—my partner even mentioned it might be the best Italian meal he's ever had, and he’s been to Italy! The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The dessert was equally delightful. We highly recommend this place!
Vegetarian Food Review: Found Al Volo on Google and went there to grab some dinner. Really liked the ambiance. The bread served was no good…. Soft and nor was the oil flavoured like it could have been with the stuff in it. However the Burrata Ravioli was a pleasant surprise thus the 4 star. It was simple and lovely. They did not have much option for nonalcoholic beverage so succumbed to my normal choice as Coke is the only option.Vegetarian options: They had 5 options for vegetarian in pasta.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner at this modest-size neighborhood gem in the Adams Morgan district. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, the service was welcoming, warm and responsive. The menu was interesting and the fresh pasta was excellent and arrived at our table very quickly. The soundtrack enhanced the overall atmosphere, as does the open kitchen. Finally, the price point is very reasonable. We don’t live in D.C., but if we did, we would be at Al Volo regularly.
The food was Amazing. At first I did not find anything on the menu but our server helped me get what I wanted and the chef made my entree exactly to my liking. First time I finished my whole plate and had desert. Would suggest the gnocchi fresh and deliciously made. The molten lava cake was great it was a nice milk chocolate center. The bread sticks are also a great bonus. Will definitely be dining again.Thanks for a great evening.

We absolutely adored the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. They serve bread and oil at the table, which is quite tempting, so be sure to resist the urge to overindulge! Perfect food and service. The waiter is supper sweet and caring. I ordered pappardelle all agnello, seafood noodles (don't remember the name), and Tiramisu. All are delicious.
