I typically always forget to write google reviews but this place deserves every word I have to say. I found this spot because the luggage storage app, bounce, sent me here to hold my bags while I toured apartments for the day. Before I left my bags, I decided to try a quiche which was so much better than expected. Growing up in my father's deli, I tend to have high standards for most food because I can usually recognize good ingredients so safe to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised with my quiche. Update July 2024: They continue to make the best Italian sandwiches, and the wings are quite tasty too. However, they overlooked my dessert in my latest order, and there have been issues with the dipping sauces for the wings getting mixed up. I'm placing another order this Saturday for dinner, which is always a busy time, especially with the rainy weather, so I understand they might be overwhelmed. I trust they will refund me for the missing dessert, and I'll definitely order again. This isn't the first time this has happened, so if you experience similar issues, I recommend being patient. Found this wonderful jem recently and I'm so grateful I did. The food is fantastic and I highly recommend getting the pizza which is served after 4:00pm. It's honestly the best pizza in DC. The ready made sandwiches and breakfast burritos are fantastic too! The customer service is so welcoming, and you really get a home vibe from being here. 10/10 place and I look forward to continuing to be a regular customer here.
Good pizza and overall selection of goods but missing the mark in a few ways — can’t get an iced coffee because they don’t have plastic cups or straws, the coffee is meh anyway, terrible pastries, and the place is a MESS. Dirty looking coffee area that is also an office ? and just disarray and weird furniture everywhere. Not sure who’s running the show but maybe give your guests a nicer in house experience? Kevin and his staff were amazing. We needed a place for a repast. Kevin made us feel at home. Everyone was so caring and accomdating. Their downstairs hang out space was perfect for gathering with family and friends. We loved the decor. It felt like just like we were at a friend's home. Lots of delicious menu options to accommodate different preferences.
I read a review on here that said it was the best in DC. I’m gonna have to agree. Wow. What great pizza. Top notch service too. I ordered a large delivery order. 12 pizza and 4 salads. They called to tell me the door dasher was on the way. Impeccable service. I’ll definitely order it again.
A small store with gourmet ingredients, and a lovely cafe in back where I got a wonderful salmon sandwich and beet/apple/walnut salad and a peanut butter cookie all for under $25. Highly recommend, though seating is very limited.
