On May 19, 2024 I went to Alo Saigon on Elm Street in Westfield with a bunch of my friends. All of them were Chinese and they loved this place but it was a first time for my family and myself, though we drive by it frequently and my oldest asked if it was the restaurant with the kid in the front window playing computers games. I didn 't know what he was referring to but as we drove up and found free parking he confirmed that YES it was the place with the Asian kid in the front window! Omg the broth of the pho was so delish. Definitely would love to try other food from here and try pork this time not beef. The beef was k but the broth was really delish couldn't stop drinking it. So i had to come again so i ask for the pork pho with the beef broth omg it is so good. Also tried the spring roll yum but not all of them. They finally had the shrimp roll yum and rice this rice right here is really good. First time ever eating at the restaurant and omg it smelled so bad the restaurant. But the food tasted good like it always has.
I waited at my table for 19 minutes, then decided to get up and wait another 5 minutes. When I finally spoke to the staff and said I wanted to eat in, I was met with a dismissive attitude because she claimed I had said takeout. Despite the frustration, I tried to be accommodating and brought my plate to her, still intending to leave a tip. However, she rudely told me to just leave it. I definitely won’t be returning; they need to improve their customer service.
Stopped here for lunch based on a friend’s review that the Pad Thai was the best she ever had. I must say the food was SO flavorful!!! I had the #12 chicken salad and every bite was bursting with flavor. The building/ restaurant/ decor is outdated but who cares when the food is this GOOD. You’re there to eat right?! Vegetarian options: An entire page of the menu devoted to vegetarian foods.

This is my one of my favorite restaurants in Westfield, the food I've been served is amazing, fresh and made to order. Vegetarian options: There are so many delicious vegetarian options. Any vegetarian will be happy with the service and quality of food served to the table.It's a true gem on Elm Street in Westfield. I give that restaurant 10 Stars, not 5. ??
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. However, the host was quite rude and seemed to have an unpleasant attitude throughout our visit. She became upset with my friend and me when we struggled to understand her, and after we paid, she asked us to leave without even allowing us to leave a tip. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
Quite possibly one of the best Pho places this side of Worcester. This is a traditional Viet restaurant and I think a lot of people expect to get westernized Pho and leave disappointed. The food was great and there was a lot of care put into its preparation. If you are looking for truly delicious Viet food, this is the place to go.
Went there twice, the lady need to lower her voice when talking to the customers. Not particularly impressed I actually love Vietnamese soups).
