We had intended to have dinner at Alpha, so we ordered drinks and some mushroom appetizers. Unfortunately, the mushrooms were still frozen in the middle, so we sent them back. They returned them to us overcooked and rock-hard. We decided not to eat them at all. When we informed our server that we wouldn't take the risk of having dinner there, we asked for the check. To our dismay, we still had to pay $9 for the appetizer. We won't be returning.
We are new to Alpha Pizza but now order once a week. It totally reminds me of a family pizza place in Pittsburgh. Same warmth and friendly service. Same delicious food. The lasagna was insane!!
