Let me start with the good things, because this list will be shorter than the bad ones. The sauce, it is. Everything else was cruel, the cook had to be a microwave. The sausages and meatballs both tasted as if they had found a frozen bag and not the name mark. Great value. My wife Huhn was the same, I wish I had the pizza because there is no way people could come for more pasta. Now that I'm done with the food, Brooke was our server and remembered that we were one of three tables in it, I don't understand the delay in the service at the beginning of our meal. We waited for them to come back after the delivery of our drinks, we had to order our app with our entrees. Thank God they were frozen...
Ok so this restaurant has been an Apollo Beach staple for our family and others forever. It's so good, never ever had any issues. The salads are huge, the gyro meat so tender and flavorful, and the pizzas are perfect. Was on my lists of must-haves when I drove down to visit. It's been nearly 20 years we've been frequenting it if that says anything at all. Go get some great food, what are you waiting for?!
Try when you're in the area. One of the best Italian restaurants where I was, got the lasagna and pizza! The sauce is sturdy and both items were savory. The environment is old school, covered and welcoming. Suzy our waitress was amazing and will definitely be more often in the future!
Friendly local institution. Great food and has a great side area with live music. The best deal is the 3 topping big pizza deal on Friday and Saturday. Try the Greek salad and choose to add the potato salad above (if you like potato salad) ... trust me!
