This restaurant is near an apartment we just moved to, and as we like Thai food it was an obvious choice. Judging from the few places to sit inside, most of their business is take-away. You can see the cook prepare everything and also see all the food is fresh.We ordered a mixed entrée to share (A$10) which included fish cake, chicken wings, spring rolls and a curry puff with chilli sauce. These were tasty and seemed good value compared to some so-called tapas restaurants not too far away. This place was surprising and delightful. After many years ordering from the same restaurant this felt like a risk. It was well rewarded. The food was delicious and met our hopes beyond our expectation.Delicious authentic tasting Thai. Will order again. Probably tomorrow. Khop khun khap.
Trouble with this place is its so hit and miss and this last order Chicken Pad Thai, Satay sticks and Beef in oyster sauce was terrible. Pre made Satay sticks cold as, grit in the Pad Thai and beef that was chewy and slimy. No wonder the Japanese next door was so busy

We have eaten at Amy's many times and never been dissatisfied with the meal!The prices are very reasonable and always cooked freshly in front of you.It is BYO and the staff are very friendly.The road noise can be a bit loud at times, but the food makes up for that.
Best stir fried noodles you can get. Always a smile from the owner, no long wait for your order and full of ingredients that are on the menu (crispy veggies, chicken) whereas a lot of Thai places leave out the chicken and veggies.
Best Thai I have ever had, including in Thailand. Very generous portions that arrived in minutes. Friendly owner and staff. Bit of traffic noise and very basic inside, but food makes up for it.
Try the beef Crying Tiger it's a must. Served with a steamed greens and a secret sauce. Authentic cuisine. Fast and fresh. One of Dee Why's stalwarts in the competitive food scene.
