There were my friends' birthday with family with reservations and everything went smoothly. I started with an expensive Mojito and it was delicious. As starters, the group had Calamari, and muscles with white wine sauce with decent portions of both. I like the fried banana pepper in Calamari! For my entree I chose a spinach and artichokes of combated salmon with Risotto and it was amazing with a hearty part, I was very satisfied. My bf got the Connecticut style hot lobster role and loved it too! We have to try again.
The restaurant has a stunning location by the marina. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. I've visited twice now. The only downside is that it is quite expensive for the portion sizes, and drinks are extremely pricey. Don’t expect to have any leftovers, as our dinner for two, without appetizers or dessert and with just one drink each, came to $100 before gratuity. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Our table was directly on the docks and we observed boats going on and out! Our food and drinks were delicious ? The Lobster Roll had large chunks of fresh lobster meat; the seafood platter had a fresh variety of samples from the ocean and was quickly gobbled up! They made every attempt to accommodate us from the hot Sun, by getting a second umbrella for additional shade. Highly recommend!!

Nestled right by the water, Anchor Down is an excellent spot for Sunday brunch or dinner. The menu features a diverse selection, including steamed mussels, fried clams, and raw oysters. For the main course, you can choose from a whole branzino, crab cakes, a fisherman's platter, or salmon. If you're in the mood for a cocktail, the Shipwreck is a delightful option that will surely leave an impression!
I’ve been enjoying a birthday party here, and I’m so glad we chose this place. I ordered a lobster tail with vegetables, and it was absolutely delicious. The sangria was nice, but the food really stole the show. I can’t thank the servers enough for their excellent service. I can’t wait to come back to this restaurant!
