This is a small unpretentious brightly decorated cafe with standard dishes as well as some special and exotic ones including both Vietnamese and done Chinese dishes. Service is brisk and friendly and the food is always of a very high standard. Prices are very reasonable and the whole experience makes you keep coming back for more. Their whole fish presentation is always a favourite but there are lots of others.
Walking distance so a regular for me. Don't need a menu -the wantons and the Seafood Laska are fabulous. Never finish the laksa - very generous serve. My friend loves the noodles. Beautifully obliging staff and always so welcoming . Not too upmarket - guess that's why we come out which plenty of change from $50.00Love it there. Tell myself it's really healthy!!
Location wise, very handy on the food esplanade of Brunswick East. One of the few Asian cuisines, seems like the only Vietnamese restaurant judging by its name.Not much in terms of set up, quite a pleasant service.Food wise, not the most authentic Vietnamese cuisine, more like a compilation of South East Asian cuisines. This is a great place to have a good economical meal. The food is good honest basic with a good choice. Veggies are fresh and nicely presented. It can be crowded, best to get in early. It is also licensed.
Very good service, water straight on table, taking drink orders straight away. Once we put menus down they took our order quickly. Very tasty dishes, the food came out quick, nice staff, enjoyable.
This little hole in the wall restaurant is the definition of Melbourne dining - outstanding food at outstanding value. It is family run, and the family provides great service. Highly recommended
The food here is passable but not great. I found the salt and pepper squid very greasy but the other dishes we had such as the rice paper rolls, the la lop and the deep fried fish were good. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This would have to be the best value for money restaurant I have eaten at. The service is ultra friendly and the chicken Pad Thai is exceptional. I highly recommend this
