Family get together after lockdown- we had the numbers which allowed us to try out various dishes. Still the best Indian restaurant around!! Fantastic food. I would recommend the crispy okra, mustard chicken tikka, dahi puri and aloo tikki chaat for starters (that’s what we...had and they were top notch). I reckon you could order anything and will not be disappointed. Special mention to the melt-in-the-mouth mustard chicken tikka (we ordered a repeat, it was that good) For mains we had some awesome dishes. My personal favourites gilafi handi, railway lamb, chicken chettinad, vegetable kolhapuri, paneer tikka masala and some rice and garlic naans. Attentive service without it being too much....
Dined last night after stunning win by Quins over Brizzle. Was advised to arrive by 10 latest and was a few minutes late but despite this we were served promptly even though restaurant was almost full. Food this evening was very tasty not a...bland or totally overwhelming item among them. We tried a bunch of different dishes, but the Biriani, Lamb Rogan, Dal Tarka, Naans and Lamb Sagwallah stood out. With one or two beers and heaps of papads, bill was around £25 a head. Excellent evening and great service thanks!
always liked atithi, but wasn't for a few years. service was good, eating was largely good quality, but so salty I couldn't finish it, it was terrible. the calkpfeffer in the Chutney tablet was very bad quality, reminded me of one I. from the market for pennies in delhi. it was a bit different and more uplifted, but I would rather have a bog standard curry that I can eat than eat oversalted. something has changed that we do not go back.
we are vegetarian and are always blown away, how tasty it is eating atithi! Previously came here, but forget it until you turn off and now we are diving on or have a takeaway here at least once a month. lives almost 20 years in twickenham and this is my way to the Indian restaurant! great, I am every aspekt, eat, service, staff. try the gilaffi handi, they will not regret it. take is also the top of the class.
Excellent night out with friends. We picked 8 of the 11 vegetarian side dishes and they were all superb. Nice to get a mango lassi too.
very enjoyed my meal starter and main course were both very good. also very good service. would definitely return.
