This review might be a bit influenced by a power outage in the neighborhood during our meal. Nevertheless, the staff quickly provided candles, allowing us to keep enjoying our food. They successfully served our entire order since they use gas in the kitchen, and the quality and flavor of the food were outstanding. We highly recommend trying the cumin olives as an appetizer; the unique flavor from the cumin was delightful, and we’ll definitely try to recreate it at home.
This restaurant was very good and the first North African food we have had. We ordered lamb, merguez, and rabbit and they were all very well prepared and delicious. Be sure to include the merguez as it was an unknown to us and was a pleasant surprise. Both the couscous and gluten free subsitute were great. One diner is celiac and had no issues eating at this restaurant. The staff was knowledgeable and consciences of the allergy.
We were in the area, we can see this restaurant where we can bring our wine. Unwelcoming reception. My partner chose the table d'hôte. The salad is tasteless as are the two couscous we have chosen. The dessert was dry. The only thing that was good was the coffee. I really do not recommend this restaurant to you.
This charming restaurant on Duluth is a fantastic discovery. We really appreciated the welcoming, family-like ambiance, and the food was exceptional. Das Essen war spektakulär. Ich hatte seit über 20 Jahren keinen so guten Couscous mehr gehabt. Wir probierten Hühnchen, Merguez, Lamm und Kaninchen ... alles fantastisch. Und so sind wir die Kreuzkümmel-Kichererbsen und Desserts. Danke.
It's a bring your own wine. Really disappointed with the service but above all with the food, tasteless couscous that does not come close to what we see elsewhere. Quite expensive too.
