One of Alsace's most satisfying gastronomic experiences. Michelin star restaurant, with an exceptionally simple and pleasant service. Far from refined and glamorous restaurants, Au Trotthus makes you comfortable from your entrance to the end. Rich simplicity is incredible. The host distributes love in every detail. Delicious food, and superb wines (even if the white is sometimes served too cold). The tastes are refined, the pairings precise and tasty. For that alone, you have to eat there once. The quality-price ratio is questionable (quantities, accompaniment), but these are exceptional products. What hasn't been is the reception. Service relaxed, but almost too much; and yet a little distant (going and returning to the table a little hastily; it's good not to harass the customer, but asking about their wishes seems to me a good idea). The room smelled slightly of stale tobacco. When your nostrils are sharp, it's unpleasant; Fortunately it happened during the meal.
Interesting experience. My friend tried to book a table in this restaurant because it was recommended to us. The person who answered him unpleasantly answered him first to go to their website before reminding him to book. Indeed, the menus would not be cheap. The discussion cut short when Madame told her that we would come with our child. Children are not welcome in this facility. Lived at gourmet restaurants (and yes, some of your colleagues enjoy the children), we have never experienced such a welcome where we went to eat in the world.

We have practically reserved the restaurant only a lot of disclaimer after the covid but then what discovery there are 2 menus my wife and I have mixed them, but the happiness I do not advise you to keep for us very nice people and bravo
