Attended Sunday morning, 9:30am, 3 adults and 1 toddler. The restaurant was not that busy and service was covering about 20 tables, with what appeared to be 5 wait staff. After 30 minutes of sitting down we had to go find someone to take our order. The coffees came. 1 flat white and 1 latte. Both were plonked on the table. When we asked which was which we were advised their both the same. We challenged this with the waitress who advised it was hard to keep up with the coffee orders. So we basically had to accept it. Food was relatively quick to come out. Food was ok but both orders of poached eggs were hard boiled. We then had to go and get our own cutlery. Water cups were on the table when...
Up until a month ago, I had never walked into Aubergine at Dee Why. In March, new owners took over and it's now easy to say that it is one of the best restaurants on the northern beaches. The food is EXCELLENT and because people aren't aware new owners or chef are there now, it's a quiet place to eat at (so great for dates ) however with a name change and renovation to happen soon, this won't be the case for long. All dishes were great and in particular their slow cooked special, crispy skin barramundi, seafood pasta and aubergine parmigiana (pictured) were all delicious. The desserts were really popular at our table too. Give it a try, I bet you'll love it too!!
We popped in to Dee Why to meet some friends and had lunch at Aubergine. What a beautiful spot, right on the beach, fantastic service, very friendly staff. The food was delicious and the menu offers a nice variety of choice for all taste. We decided to share a few dishes and also tried the soup of the day, homemade and very lovely. Prices are very descent for the quality of food too.Highly recommanded. We will come back and try their diner menu!
I go there with my husband for dinner if I feel like a good meat night. They serve very good main dish with beef, lamb,veal and chicken. I try all different meals but almost every meal was very good. Lunch time has a deal too I think.

We dined here last week and the food was outstanding. The scallops were a favourite for me, perfectly cooked and served with pork belly. Fantastic wine list and the service was wonderful - highly recommend!
Delicious food in a cracking location with great service. Particularly impressed with the number of gluten free and vegetarian options to choose from.Will definitely be back.
We were on a tour of the beaches of New South Wales and this was our lunch stop. What a fabulous place to eat. the food was superb and the staff very friendly.
I won a $200 Good Food voucher at work, and figured this would be a good time to take my mum to a fancy dinner she would otherwise refuse to attend.

The atmosphere was good but the service was horrible Our waitress never once asked how the food was She never checked upon on us.
Went here on a Tuesday night Wonderful ambience and a view of the opera house.
