Autana is a bit of a hidden gem located just across from the Ardmore station. BYOB. Fantastically fresh and flavorful food. The tartare criollo was an absolute flavor bomb, the tuna and salmon were so fresh and blended perfectly with avocado, herbs, veggies, and tostones on the side. We enjoyed everything we ordered especially the empanaditas, salmon, pabellon criollo, and cachapas. The coffees (loved the Bombon! and desserts did not disappoint. Love this restaurant which gave us some great venezuelan cuisines. The chicken and fish (tastes same as chicken) empanadas were super crispy and filling was to die for. The beef arepas were okay. I have had arepas before and I was expecting it to be like it but it looked completely different. But it was still good. Pulled pork Patacones was to DIE for!!! Ghosh! It was amazing!!! Definitely get that one if you plan on going. I don't know if this is an authentic venezuelan restaurant because the food looked very fancy lol but nevertheless all the food were amazing! Wow, where do I even begin? It’s really hard to find a Venezuelan restaurant, but this one truly felt like home. I haven’t had a chicha in years, and this place totally transported me back in time. The food was incredible—everything was absolutely delicious. I wish nothing but blessings and success for this business. The owner is fantastic too; she came over to our table to ensure everything was perfect. The service was great, and all the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Me and 2 of my besties had a scrumptious lunch here. Parking is a bit of a nightmare; however, once you're there, the service and food make up for it. Everything was divine; however, the assorted empanaditas with their dipping sauces was a personal favorite. The tres leches absolutely stole the show. My word! Amazing food! I enjoyed every single dish! We started with the empanaditas, tequeños, and mandocas as appetizers. For our main courses, we ordered Pabellon Criollo and beef cachapas. Great flavor. I had the arepa pabellon and it was satisfying with the ripe avocado balanced with the melting cheese and savory meat. This definitely hit the spot for something different and I look forward to trying other menu items.
