"A couple friends and I went to Average Joes on the weekend and it was delicious! The cheese biscuits were warm, and the garlic dip was beyond amazing! I ordered the beef and mushroom (pasta with prime rib, spinach and mushroom in a cream sauce), which I recommend! The portions are super reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a more upscale meal!"

Food was absolutely disgusting. Chicken tacos had chopped tomatoes on top, and other wet toppings. making the chicken, and taco shell mush, and watery juice pouring out with each bite.. as to why you would put wet ingredients on a taco is beyond me. I got my fries made into a poutine. The fries were floating in gravy, and it was so salty, my tongue was numb an hour later.. the kids chicken fingers, the fries, and my partners fish were all cooked in the same fryer so the chicken fingers, and fries smelled, and tasted like fish. To top it off the menu said the kids meal was 10.00, we were charged 15.00. The waitress gave us grief because there were 7 of us, and they only allow 6 at a table......
The food and service are very good and the beautiful lake views make for a stunning location to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend the gnocchi. The only issue I could see is the lack of parking as it is near the marina which can get busy when the weather is nice.Parking: As mentioned in my review, the location shares parking with the marina which can be fairly busy when the weather is nice leaving very little parking on the premise. I was still however able to park during a busy day so it shouldn't be too difficult.
The food was not fresh and was stale overall (aside from the biscuits, those were lit). The fish and chips and pickerel were disappointing and didn't taste fresh at all. The quality would have been expected if the prices were slashed in half, but it's completely insane to pay an average of $40 per plate for mediocre food like this. Portions were generous, but what does it matter if the food sucks. Staff was friendly and efficient. Only one bathroom was open for the entire restaurant.
We were looking for a beautiful place to have dinner we found it. The view was absolutely amazing we sat on the patio and it overlooks the water. Our server Lauren was so sweet and very attentive. Great service from the moment we walked in. My partner had the pickerel I had the salmon compliments to the chef. We will be back. Thank you for the warm lovely atmosphere. We had a great time
