Just introduced to Bagels on the Greene the other day by a coworker, and I can 't believe I didn 't know about it before! The vegetarian selection is incredible something I really appreciate when I 'm running out for a quick work lunch. Their homemade seitan 'chicken ' is delicious, and the owner very kindly offered me a little sample of several dishes to try (the butter 'chicken ' was particularly good). A nice selection of ready to go sandwiches, great chips and a huge variety of drinks for a quick brownbag lunch. The only suggestion I 'd make is that it 's a little unclear when you go in how you 're supposed to order (especially the hot food). Will be back ASAP!
Stumbled into this place starving after a quick hike last week. Was overwhelmed by and confused by how many choices there are! From heaped salad bowls and bagels, to Indian food, chances are you'll find something tasty to eat. We found it overpriced (3 salads for $12) because they weren't generous with their portions. We also got a (small) spicy tuna sandwich on challah bread for $6. A little overpriced and not the best customer service but great flavours and would go back if in the area.
So glad to be temporarily located around the corner. This place has the best bagels in MTL. No joke! Going back to Bagel St-Viateur will be quite a shock after this place (although they add more sesame seeds on theirs). Ask their own cream cheese with chives. So good, but at a price... And yes the staff is rude, but the bagel will put a smile on your face for a while!
Really great experience there for lunch time.Great variety of food and for a medium lunch box for 6$, it was really worth it : 2 meats vegerian 2 vegetables salade some rice with that.There was a lot of other thing that looked so goood. Great 2 egg breakfast burrito lettuce, tomato, formage, and salsa with a apple cinnamon and formage bagel chased down with a double shot cappuccino! Great food and great price. My daily breakfast stop.
This was our first time to Montreal and we googled best bagel places and this came up. They did not disappoint. Food and service is excellent. Wide variety of choices not just bagels
What a great Discovery !! Simply amazing food. They have from Indian, Mexican food, to bagel,eggs, smoothies, sweets and the list goes on. Definitely going back with more co-workers.

I just stumbled in here and the selection is amazing. I was a bit confused how to order and pay, but my bagel and salads were so good. My meal was under $5 and I loved it!
