We used to eat here all the time when they first opened. Food and service started going downhill, so we stopped going. I recently started going again, and have had pretty good food. The other day, we both ordered beef brisket dinner- $16.00 each. We both got fatty and overcooked meat. Talked to the waitress, she said she would talk to the manager. Nothing became of it. So, $40.00 later we won’t be going back again for awhile.
Amazing service here. Our waitress Whitney was on top of everything. Drinks, napkins, condiments she was handling it all like a champ. Before we even knew we needed something she was there providing it. I highly recommend the BBQ beans it was so good I had to get a second helping to go. Will be coming back here again. Whenever we're in Carbondale, IL, this is our favorite spot to go. The service is always excellent, and the BBQ is fantastic! We usually dine in for dinner, and the price per person ranges from $10 to $20. We highly recommend trying the Hot Sauce and Spicy BBQ Sauce, French Fries, Garlic Bread, Burnt Tips, Brisket Sandwich, Smoked Chicken, Burnt Ends, Mac and Cheese, and Brisket.
I ordered takeout and everything was delicious and fresh. The bartender was incredibly friendly and made the process of getting my order to go very easy. Service was excellent with a rating of 5 out of 5. The meal was for lunch and cost between $10-20 per person. The food quality, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I eat here a couple times a month. The Budget Buster meal is a great price for the amount of food and I have never had anything bad here. The service is sometimes a little slow sometimes but that seems to be due to short staffing. But they are always pleasant. Service: Dine in

We arrived an hour before they closed and the young lady serving us was fantastic! The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean. Rating: Food 4, Service 5, Atmosphere 5.
