Received great service on a quieter Sunday night from Aven (sp.?) It was my husband's and my first time at Bar Bricco and overall we left satisfied and happy.Items ordered:Egg yolk ravioloFonduta AgnolottiChef's special crostini with fresh shucked peas, mint and lemon caccio y pepe18 month prosciutto di parmaChocolate truffles for dessertEverything was executed well and generous with flavour. The pasta dishes were beautiful. The taste profile of a few of the dishes were very similar though - a combination of butter, parmesan and pepper. Perhaps our fault for not realizing we ordered dishes that used very similar ingredients.The house made focaccia that accompanied the prosciutto was heavenly...
The wine selection was great - Our server suggested our wine and we weren't disappointed. The Agnolotti (pasta stuffed with cheese) which you dip into butter and than into parmiango cheese was amazing. We also had the mixed tasting plate - 3 meats, 3 cheeses along with bread. It was more than enough food for two people. The ambiance of the place is great.. very small and intimate. It's 75% bar seating.The dishes and wine are a little over priced but it was still enjoyable - I would go back.
I stopped here during a recent visit to Edmonton, as I couldn't get into Corso 32 or Uccelinos. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the tapas and a glass of wine. My server was very helpful in assisting me with the tapas choices, that weren't familiar to me. The flavours were great and the portion size just right. Despite the bar being busy when I was there, the service was excellent. This is a popular place, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Is an awesome little place for cheese and wine lovers. They have a great wine selection that yoy can't find anywhere else. I recommend a plate for share that have everything from pasta bread cheese and ham or some source of charcuterie board delicious!

Continues to be the best spot in Edmonton for an excellent wine list and original tasty appetizers. Great service and a fun casual atmosphere. Won't disappoint.
A very enjoyable place. Lots of meat, good cheese, great wine selection. Best place if you want to take your time eating and enjoy good company
Great food, small plates for sharing; large selection of wines. Great presentation however staff have attitude.
