The gelato at this place is excellent, and it is affiliated with the Fruitinate daughter restaurant, which is also very good. The best flavor I have tried so far is the earthberry. The prices are reasonable, around $6-$10 for a small to large serving, which is comparable to other gelato places. However, parking can be frustrating as there are limited spots and street parking can be taken up by other restaurants. The staff is always very friendly. Overall, I recommend this place. They offer about 20 different flavors, including dairy-free options.
We had friends in town and, first had a great dinner at Poe's Tavern. We walked down and just HAD TO have gelato at Beardcat's.Our friends were blown away by the awesomeness there.Super friendly staff and, just can't say enough good things about the gelato.Wife woke up the next morning and, first thing she said was, Wasn't Beardcat's AWESOME Bravo!!!
Take some friends and sample several items. I enjoyed my hot cocoa and sugar cookie/strawberry gelato sandwich. Great service and atmosphere. We’re coming back Friday to eat dinner at the affiliated Obstinate Daughter. If you know, you know.

This restaurant is absolutely delicious and worth the money. I ordered the almond crunch and hazelnut milkshake and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning.
the sea salt olive oil gelato is amazing! very unique and was initially quite skeptical, but if they try it, they will wonder why it is not a classic gelato.
