If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! I?m down here to visit a friend. We were initially told the wait was approximately 30 minutes. We came back 40 minutes later and there was still a wait for a table. The Hostess, Emily (not sure if she?s the Owner and/or Manager) asked if we?d like drinks since we were STILL waiting for a table, so we said sure. I think the assumption was that was going to be comped (more on that later). I have lots of food allergies so I ordered the special of fried chicken w/ greens and asparagus. I specifically asked if it was white meat and the waitress assured me it was. So my dish comes and it looks like a chicken wing and not sure what the other piece of chicken was...
Always in my top 5 in Charleston at any moment. The absolute best staff, best service and consistently good food. This is a great place. If you have a crowd with varied taste, there are beef, options, seafood options, and pasta. The menu is small and changes fairly often and I can’t recommend the specials enough. The cauliflower dip is absolutely to die for, and they are seared tuna, the appetizer, or the entrée is incredible. The dishes are always creative, the ingredients are fresh, and it’s always just an overall wonderful dining experience.
We love this restaurant! Small place, good menu. I love their lasagna. Good apps and wine list. The service is excellent. We always go to High Thyme when we come to IOP. Quick drive to Sullivans island. Parking: Tiny parking lot, parking in the street, or parking a short walk away. We end up going when they’re pretty busy, and parking is not available right in front. One of the best meals we have had in Mt Pleasant/Charleston. Hot food, hot! This place is fresh, inviting and charming. Wine list was great, reasonable. The service was wonderful thanks Casey! The spinach and mushroom risotto (I added scallops) was the best I’ve had. Highly recommend any food here must go! It’s on our list now to bring family and friends that visit. We had an amazing dining experience at High Thyme. The service was top-notch and our main dishes were delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal on Sullivan's Island. Service: Sit-down Meal type: Dinner Price range: $30–50 per person.
If you are in the area, this place was hands down nothing short of amazing! Friendly owners and staff and food was AMAZING! Great wine and great ambience! Cosy and would like to go back! Thank you for the amazing experience!!!
We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners at this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere was also great. I highly recommend trying the Cioppino dish.
