We ate here whilst at HPB Constant on the first night of the season. Very good food and definitely an improvement in flavour presentation compared to previous visit some years before. A wide range of eating options are available (eg: BBQ, take-away chicken roast), we opted for the evening meal (at table) service and couldn't fault it. Not exactly expensive but prices are on the highish side. Nonetheless overall a very good experience.
I would rate this restaurant somewhere between 3 average and 4 good, it mainly catered for the HPB clientele at Constant. It’s rather rustic when compared to many restaurants close by, but very welcoming . Would have scored higher if the chips had not been a mixture of soggy to hard baked all in the same serving. You can find better in the area
We ate here a couple of times during our stay at HPB Constant. My food was fine, but some of the others in our party had a couple of issues with their food, especially the moules frites. Prices were on the high side for what it was. The chef did give us some great tips on where to visit though when we went on a day trip out to Sarlat.
Popped in for ‘Happy Hour’ to a very unhappy grumpy owner/manager. Rude, couldn’t bring himself to smile or make us feel welcome. Irritated when we asked what cocktail/drinks options there were. To the contrary, felt like an inconvenience serving us. Won’t return. Very poor service. I’d rather drink a bottle of wine at home! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
After an enforced absence due to covid, we return to find exactly the same restaurant we love! Excellent food and service and a great menu with daily specials. Yohann, Joel and the team make for a very enjoyable and quality experience. We ate there 3 times during our holiday and had a takeaway on our final evening.
